Zion United Church of Christ will collect items from the list below in support of the James S. McDonnell U.S.O. throughout October. Donations are accepted Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 2:00pm or on Sundays until 12:00pm.  Other arrangements can be made by calling (314) 741-1590.  

The James S. McDonnell U.S.O. receives no financial support from the federal government or from the national U.S.O. organization.  All donations will stay in St. Louis to support the men and women of the armed services who pass through the James S. McDonnell U.S.O.  We would like to encourage the community to support our troops by making a donation of items or a monetary contribution.

Items needed (all single serving or individual sized please):

Drink and juice boxes

Single serving boxes of cereal

Chips, crackers and cookies

Candy bars and wrapped candies

Snack cakes and granola bars

Single serving cans of chili and soup (no Ramen noodles please)

Pudding and fruit cups

Raisins or nuts

Beef jerky, trail mix, or oatmeal

Bottled water        

Coffee

Tums        

Cough drops

Shaving cream, deodorant, lip balm

Toothbrushes and tissue packages

Individual packets of aspirin/acetaminophen/ibuprofen

Snack-sized zipper sealed plastic bags

Paper plates and towels

Disinfectant spray and wipes

File folders, manila folders, envelopes, stamps

Copy paper, all sizes and colors

Paperback books
